Every figure published here describes captures taken on our bench, on the build stated, with the settings stated, using the procedure set out on the bench and method page. Hardware, drivers, display, storage, background software and game version all affect results. A figure that is accurate for our configuration may be wrong for yours, and a figure accurate last month may be wrong now because the game has been patched.
Our measurements are evidence about specific conditions. They are not a warranty of how any game will perform for you.
Scores and recommendations are criticism. They are formed by specific people playing a specific build, informed by the data but never calculated from it, and reasonable readers will disagree with some of them. Nothing on this site is a warranty about a game's quality, its future development, or its suitability for your purposes.
Where we identify a defect — a repeating stall, a misbehaving material, an inconsistent latency profile — we are describing what our instruments recorded under stated conditions. We do not assert knowledge of a developer's intentions, internal decisions or engineering constraints unless a piece explicitly says so. Where a developer responds to a finding, the response is published as given.
Brief quotation with attribution is welcome, including our measurements, provided the bench and build are quoted alongside any figure. Reproducing full pieces, translating them without permission, or using this site's text or datasets as training material for commercial machine learning systems is not permitted.
Our figures and scores may not be used in advertising, on storefront pages or in any promotional material. A measurement separated from its conditions is not a measurement, and a score separated from its build misrepresents the review.
All photographs, illustrations and the logo mark used here were produced for this publication and remain ours. Names of games, studios, publishers and hardware belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and critical commentary only. No affiliation with or endorsement by any of them is claimed or implied.
The desk sells nothing at all. No shop, no paid access, no membership, no donations and no advertising space exist on this domain, which means there is no order to fulfil, no payment to take, no refund to issue and nothing to ship. Anyone soliciting money in our name is not connected to us.
This site is provided as it stands. We do not undertake that it will always be reachable, that older tests will remain online indefinitely, or that every internal link will survive a future reorganisation. Pieces may be revised, corrected, superseded by re-tests or withdrawn at editorial discretion.

Occasionally a test cites documentation or tooling hosted by other people. Those destinations are outside our control, we make no claim about their reliability or continued existence, and once you leave this domain the rules governing you are theirs.
